I guess. But we ladies don't generally emit semen, yet we seem able to cope with the idea that men do....

What do you mean 'don't generally' ;) If you ever could our number would be up.

We thought you knew! We shouldn't have to be as subtle as a scud missile...Tune in and be nice!;)

we're blokes, we don't do subtle hints,
don't get obvious hints
and think your joking with blatant hints

just tell us and stop complaining ;)

Nah. Yenners has a long history of 'birds what are they like?' type threads and after a while a pattern starts to emerge. I'm sure he's perfectly lovely in the flesh but sometimes online he makes me wonder if he's ever fully realised that they aren't an alien species...

Possibly but he's more clumsy than vindictive and misogynistically convinced.

just been sent this by my future father in law:

Dangerous - What's for dinner?
Safer - Can I help you with dinner?
Safest - Where would you like to go for dinner?
Ultra Safe - Here, have some wine.

Dangerous - Are you wearing that?
Safer - Wow, you sure look good in brown!
Safest - WOW! Look at you!
Ultra Safe - Here, have some wine

Dangerous - What are you so worked up about?
Safer - Could we be overreacting?
Safest - Here's my paycheck.
Ultra Safe - Here, have some wine.

Dangerous - Should you be eating that?
Safer - You know, there are a lot of apples left.
Safest - Can I get you a piece of chocolate with that?
Ultra Safe - Here, have some wine.

Dangerous - What did you DO all day?
Safer - I hope you didn't over-do it today.
Safest - I've always loved you in that robe!
Ultra Safe - Here, have some wine.

Quite probably, I don't like bandying a word like 'misogynist' about because to me it has a very specific meaning and is used far too frequently about anyone who says the wrong thing. But as I said, Yenners has a long history of acting like a bewildered and slightly angry bear about stuff that most of us would, I hope, just accept and deal with.

i can quite honestly say i don't suffer at all during time of the month and i'm not moody either. i must be one of the lucky ones.

funny thing is, i don't notice my mates are particularly moody either... which begs the question.. is PMT something made up by men so that they have an excuse to be baaastards and have at least one week of the month where they can blame there bad behaviour on us for being moody? (i.e. the row is caused by our mood rather than the fact that they haven't done any house work for a week and we are, of course, just being touchy about it?)

no, PMT is real,

however i'd rather not list my darling not quite wife's peculiarities on a web forum - it might hurt, especially if she reads it at a certain time of the month
