Do you buy your pet a Christmas present?

The proper name for them is German Shepherd Dog, Alsation came in during the war against the Germans.

They were always referred to as Alsatians when I was a kid and so that is what they are to me!!!

Teh name changes came about after I got her and so it is a bit like being asked to change the name of a child

anyway - she died many years ago so it is irrelevant now

Yeah, they were always Alsatians when I was growing up. I wouldn't get my knickers in a twist about the GSD name though.

Aye the Kennel Club breed name reverted to German Shepherd Dog in 1977 after 50 years of being Alsation. The name change was brought about to distance the dogs from Nazi Germany, I've had 4 although TBH one was a Black Lab GSD first cross (both parents were pedigree dogs)

Yes. Always buying our rabbits presents for birthdays and Christmas. One year I bought them a 55in OLED TV for Christmas and then an i7 32GB GTX 3060 PC for a birthday a few years back. They seem very happy with the empty boxes and me using the contents.
