Christmas is one of those rare times I get to appreciate the contents of my wardrobe, however that doesn't mean it will meet anyones norms. Between work, cycling and bed, I rarely get to wear my own clothes!

I once had to dress up in a Poundland style Father Christmas costume for the benefit of my friend's little girl, but I just looked really creepy.

Smart but comfortable until after dinner. Then it's fleecy pj's and slipper boots!
Much the same tradition as when I was a kid, I think that's why I still do it!

whatever the hell swmbo tells me to wear, I just go with the flow and count down the hours till its all over.
Genuinely hate all aspects of Christmas other than the family dinner, it all stresses me out so much.

I used to be like that. Now I control it better; who visits (no-one!) and when etc.
As a kid I did much what my son does now, he opens presents with the family then disappears to his room for some quiet, joins us for food then away again. Having autism, it's how he copes best.

As we will be eating out this year, it will have to be reasonably smart. If we had been "slobbing" at home, it would have been a more relaxed form of dress.
