When you say to your significant other, in this case MrsMaggot, it's only 6.30 lets cycle down the pub, pick up a pizza from Budgens on the way home, watch the Apprentice and get an early night

Then go down the pub, get completely arsed and roll in with a kebab at 11.50?

Oh, bugger, I'm going to regret this in the morning................................................................................ MrsUser76 could barely, well she couldn't at all really, cycle in a straight line

Brilliant, nice one. The only regret I have about working nights is I don't get to do this sort of thing any more.
How are you this morning?

You'll miss 'em like hell when they fly the nest, only way to see mine lately is to bribe them with cooked dinners lol....

Husband's favourite saying, "shall we go along the road for a couple?" and yes Four hours later we usually fall out half cut...tonight is curry night...guess what we're doing

One of ours has flown the nest, one went and come back. He is always up on Sundays for his Sunday lunch, he also brings his washing up for his Mum to do and picks up what he dropped of the previous Sunday

Well, both my kids are now post uni and now standing on their own feet. Living in Italy has made dropping in for a bite and laundry more difficult for them. We have become used to the married without kids lifestyle and enjoy our freedom. When we lived in Edinburgh, we used to have one of them drop in for a period of time and found that they just got under your feet.

Go down the pub and get totally ratted.

Wake up in the morning to the most hideous smell.

Go downstairs to find out where the stench is coming from. Ask the wife.

She replies "Last night you asked me to cook your sock".

Indeed, I do avoid my parent's house a bit as we just seem to go and sit around doing not much or I'm being told what I was told on the phone the past three days running - also get made to feel guilty about going anywhere while we're up there as 'your here to see us and we've not seen you that much"

parents live in West Yorkshire, My wife and I live in the west midlands and my brother and his wife lives in hampshire, so when they do see us, they have acquired daughters tho
