I once had a Fiat Regatta, affectionately known as Fiat Regretta.

All my cars have had names. First was Reginald (Mk1 Fiesta), then Theobald (Mk 1 Sierra), Jaws (Mk 2 Sierra), Swampy (V70 Phase 1), Harvey (XC90), Yoda (V70 Phase 3), Rocky (XC90), Sylvester (Civic Estate), and now Myfanwy (VW T5.1).

Our old old truck, an original style isuzu trooper was called Phil the Bus after someone we knew (it was originally just the nodding dog that was called Phil, cos he - the real Phil the Bus - was also a guitarist and used to nod his head in time to the music), and also went by the soubriquet "the humpety bumpety farmy truck".
Our latest car, if it had any kind of personality - which it doesn't - ought to be called Heidi cos it's so bland you can never find where you parked it!
