I do. Lashing wind and rain today but I have a huge grin on my face after doing 18 miles. OK, I can't go as fast and I need to wear about 3 more layers but it's fun!

There's something about being out in the elements that makes me feel happy.

Am I weird or does anyone else feel this way

Rain I'm not bothered about. Strong winds are a pain though!

Me too.

Me three.

There's something quite nice about riding in the rain with comfy waterproofs, but head winds slowing you down and side winds trying to knock you off or into a lorry are a downer.

Sometimes there is something quite manic and exhilarating about riding in wild weather

But do I like it - NO

Would I choose to do it if I could choose otherwise - NO

I quite like riding in the rain, not as much with the cantis but on my father's Giant its been fine. Got soaked today infact.

Now wind is the thing that I dislike... and ice... but yeah wind. Wind is ok if its a breeze, but heavier gusts can make life a bit harder, even tailwinds can cause problems if you need to slow down around a bend.

Hail is ..interesting.. to ride in. It smashes against your face and stings like crazy, then you have the added problem riding over tiny marbles. Twice I've been caught in it and just got off and walked for a bit.

Riding my road bike in the rain scared the bejesus outta me. Riding my MTB is much better! I too quite enjoy battling the elements, as long as it's on my terms!

Depends.

If I'm just out for a ride on my own, not going anywhere special, and not too cold - it's fun and I enjoy it, not least as I can get home, strip my kit off and jump in the shower.

However, if I was heading somewhere and can't easily change when I get there - not quite so good.

Not bothered. Been out in all sorts, rain, snow, sleet, wind in day and night.
Wind is a pain, but one direction will get you fit, the other direction will improve your average speed.

Everyone's a winner babe!
