3 times per week is a lot??

My mates call me Indian boy as I eat Indian food probably at least 3 times per week. A combination of going out, making my own and takeaway.

If i'm on holiday and the Indian restuarants abroad are always crap I start getting withdrawal symptons and dreaming of curry, and it's the first dinner I go for when I come back. Think it's because we're spolied in Glasgow as there are some brilliant restuarants

Love all food but Indian just does it for me.

really fellas? it's the one type of food I don't often eat...find it too rich and feel a bit tired and sub optimal after eating it.

Have had some really good curries mind you but don't crave them much

So yes Greedo, you do eat a lot by my standards

My boys will eat cold curry for breakfast! The morning after it was served! I think that it only becomes a problem when the smell starts to emit from your skin. My mate ate that much garlic that you could smell it on him all the time!

I think it depends. Having eaten a lot with an Indian family as a youngster I would say their diet, predominantly vegetarian, was very healthy and you could eat any of their meals all of the time and there would be no issue. Take away curries (not really Indian as such but cooked by Indians for the Western palate) and other Indian non-vegetarian meals can be high in fat and cholesterol, so as with any diet it's important to watch what you eat I think.

I'd love to have curry every night of the week but I'd have the backside of 2 buses, rather than just the one.

Lucky you Greedo!

Yeah I quite like the vegetarian stuff but find that takeaway/some restaurant curries which have shedloads of ghee in it really do me in.

India's home cooked food that the nation eats is not the same as a curry made for western palates.

On the subject of food.

Marks & Spencers Irish Whiskey fruit loaf with loads of butter and a strong cup of tea is perking me right up after a weekend of too much drinking. It's a gift from the gods I tell you.

A mates 40th party Friday, a sisters 30th party on Saturday and a christening yesterday all in the one weekend has taken it's toll. Was dying this morning

You are probably addicted to chilli.

I was invited to dinner at a customer's house in Pakistan once; they served up chicken tikka, which was extremely hot. I was sitting there sweating and trying not to grab a large glass of water when I looked up and realised that my customer's baby was sitting on his lap happily eating bits of the chicken he was tearing off with his fingers. Amazing!

No such thing as too much curry. Whole family is very addicted. Managed to change my hubby from a chinese man to an indian. People can be turned!

I came back from India after just one week there, eating curry for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and absolutely reeked of curry! I also couldn't get enough of it, it was LOVELY. I still dream about what they cooked up for breakfast.
