Yes - moved from Sigma 1606 wireless to Garmin Edge 205 then 705. It is in use for every ride as I log every km.... HR, cadence and power for training rides/testing.

The 705 is a brilliant training device. I'm tempted to get a 310XT for running and those occasions when I don't want to carry round the 705.

Yes, very useful for following routesheets, and keeping within time limits. Av speed doesn't interest me much and maximum speed does occasionally.

yep, i like to keep track of my rides with the computer, but it's not all about fastest this and fastest that.

ride distances can be hard to judge by feel alone, so the computer helps you keep track of your monthly mileage, it also helps you to pace yourself on a long ride, tells you the time etc etc etc.

computers are a useful tool, even if just on a curiosity level. I don't understand why some people think having one fitted means they are "expected" to cycle everywhere flat out or feel that it "spoils the ride"
