Do you want woofers with that?

I am in a quandry.

Thinking about building a winter bike using an old frame and kitting it out with Campag Veloce.

What you may ask have hi-fi woofers got to do with bike builds. Well I am on good terms with the LBS so he will cut me a deal. But I don't know how to pronounce Campagnolo or Veloce. A bit like the comedy sketch where the hi-fi chap gets bombarded with tech questions by the shop owner so that he ends up agreeing to a paper bag over his head.

The LBS owner will not do this to me but the ribbing for the rest of my life will be unbearable.

There is potential for mischief here but I place my trust in you all.

Can I have a phonetic guide of how to pronounce these two words. Doubt I'll use them but nice to know.

I'll probably just point at the catalogue:biggrin:

^ he's right, I'm sure of it.

On a slightly different note, how does one pronounce Sram?

Es-ram,

or Sram.

Just tell them that your gran was from Porto Pontellino, and she should therefore know.
