I loved the old Doctor Who shows, they were bad, sometimes really bad, but they were usually fun and I could let the plot-holes and terrible costumes slide. The modern version for me is way too political, not that the BBC wasn't political in the 1960's or 1970's, it was, and perhaps I just don't notice it because it's not so relevant anymore, but the modern version seems to lay it on so much thicker. The modern Doctor of Doctor Who if you really think about it is an odious character, he's an extreme far-left authoritarian who could warn human beings about killer mutant turnips or that you should never stand near a lamp-post because they'll come to life and melt your face, but no, he thinks it's better to tell people these things after a few thousand people have been mutilated, because reasons, and because he's The Doctor.
The BBC is State media, a Government TV channel controlled by The Illuminati and staffed by Marxists and Communists. And Doctor Who is one of their flagship shows.
