There was an article in one of the Mags a year or so ago about a chap who worked from home and who did a 'commute' (substitute ride to/from home ) every day before /after work as he felt better for it and it gave him something to look forward to before work and during the day. He felt he head the best of both worlds as he could ride as long or short as he liked and if the weather was bad, there wasn't any obligation to do it.

Does anyone else do this, or am I weird?

No, it's just you ... you're weird ...

Cheers,

I may soon be working from home 3 days a week. I already have my morning "commute" circuit in mind...I probably won't do an evening commute.
One of the work days I will be at a location I can cycle to/from, but the other day it'll be public transport.

All in all, I'll probably get more riding done because I wimp out too often at the moment

I'm working at home today, and have been since 5am. I started to feel a bit flat and realised I've been sitting here since then, so I've just been for a walk around the block, and the 'commute' has woken me up nicely.

Does anyone else do this, or am I weird?

It's a walk. Redefining it as a commute is pointless.
