Since it is 'only' the Prologue, could they not have it in Tokyo two weeks before the actual race? That would sort out who would wear the yellow jersey on the first stage, give everyone a good long recovery from the jet lag, rake in the Yen and afford the spectacle of a 'Tokyo Nocturne'!
