Getting old but not past it

Ours like watching animals on tv and always barks if she sees people fighting. Many a time, we get more fun watching her than the actual tv screens.
We have 3 cats 1 watch's snooker and other one likes wildlife programs the 3rd likes his food to muchCinders likes a wildlife program, the rest don't bother (they'd sooner watch the log-burner when it's lit.
That's your excuse. My dog loves tv, especialy the ToTP repeats. He's a big fan of Legs and Co.
Where to start?
Chance, our much missed Border Collie cross would occasionally pick up a bit of sound from the telly and stare at it for a minute or so - seagulls in particular. Otherwise, not interested.
His replacement, Robbie the terrier cross, watches everything and views the appearance of any animal on screen as a potential threat to his territory (and more likely his cushy life) and if he's in the mood, starts yapping at the telly.
This not only includes other dogs, but horses, cats, cows, meerkats (including the Corrie / insurance ones), the cartoon penguins in the British Gas advert and pretty much anything else that might look at him in a funny way.
