I think Edinburgh will look nice with the trams. They going all the way to the airport? Though the bus service to the 'port is pretty good.
Yes, they will run from the Airport to the city centre

The planners of Coventry have done more damage that Hitler’s bombs ever did
Is that what them clever people call a truism?
Put it this way - since my parents died, only the fact that my older sister and a couple of my friends still live there drags me back! (Oh, and @dave r, of course!)

I cannot believe our Rochdale is not on that web sites list

It used to be famous for the birth pace of the Co-Op , Gracie Fields & Cyril smith.

Now its seems its more famous (or should I say infamous) for Asian kiddie fiddler gangs, it also looks like Cyril is getting added to that list as well, and three generations of families who have never had jobs (Proper Jeremy Kyle fodder) and being Up T North.

It must be grim as even McDonalds have pulled out of the town centre.

On the plus side, even with all the above its still better than London as we have real hills to cycle on and it does not cost £500000 for a taxi from the pub.

Either that or the people who say that don't like the place being modernised and would rather live in the past, I've been here since 1973 and kinda like the place., despite the planners not getting it right every time.

If I was living in Coventry (again!) I'd rather live in the past too. Pre-war probably.
Having said that there are good things to find in most places and the Northfield Arms in Stoke contributed largely to the alcoholic I am today:thumbsup:

Here for rides.
The dullest town in England with a mainline railway connection to London, is, without a doubt...

Haywards Heath

it's like a gigantic dormitory in a fourth-rate boarding school c 1949 only the population are not as broadminded as said school's pupils would have been.

I think I'll pass on pre-war Coventry, I wouldn't want to live in one of the courts, half a dozen houses sharing one outside toilet, or in the back to backs, or be one of a family of a dozen crammed into a two up two down.
