I am a dog person but wouldn't own one right now due to not having the time to exercise them properly. I am a stepdad to my partner's dog though! She (partner) is always chatting to fellow dog walkers, but I tend to just say hello because I'm like that. It is a perfect conversation starter though if you are that way inclined

One of my team back in the day had his dog's lead attached to his handlebars whilst
riding on a track on his mountain bike. Dog pulled at the wrong moment and my guy broke an arm.

I grew up with a dog in the home, but when my mother took her we didn't get another because there was nobody at home all day. I missed having a dog at the time, but it wore off eventually and I've never got another even now I am at home.

Seems fairly predictable.

Dog's are a great way of chatting to people. I've chatted to all kinds of people when out with Alfie, most dog people are decent, in my eyes anyway. There's a bunch of retired people always meet at a shelter thing in the middle of the local park with their dogs at 2-3 pm, every day unless the weather is vile, they bring flasks and all seem to smoke rollies for some reason. Like chatting to them, good bunch, nice for several dogs to run around together too.

My mother met her fancy man she ran off with at the dog training class.

Dogs are great :okay: Wake up in the morning and its always a positive start to the day having a dog.-A tail wagging greeting with 'where we going' what we're doing' where's me breakfast' A morning walk chatting to the regulars where the sub text [dog inspired] is that its good to be alive despite the weather/stupid politicians/world affairs. I miss my Murphy might have another one day. :okay:
