Ok, there are lots of threads about falling off, some related to vehicular intervention and some due to ice, in the case of the former would it be prudent to stay on the floor and writhe like an Italian footballer (or Ronaldo) that has had an opposing player pass within seven miles and stay down and make a meal of it or get up (if possible) and dust yourself off like Eric Idle in that European Vacation film ?
I am not sure how I would react as I havent been doing it long and have been lucky but if some pillock pulls out on me and I go over the bonnet I might stay down for a while as I think sometimes we are too eager to be tough about it and soldier on when perhaps we should take it easy, say bollocks to work for the day and lay a bit of guilt on the muppet that has had you off, there are a few ifs and buts like whether they actually realise and if they did whether they stop. Perhaps stopping short of pretending to have convulsions or frothing at the mouth but if you can carry it off
perhaps there should be a category at the Oscars next year ?
Remember, when you get knocked off, however minor, its an RTA and potentially shock is a factor so carrying on may not be the best course of action even if able.
My last painful one was a crash as a kid, carried on delivering papers, a few people got their Manchester Evening News with a fair portion of AB RH- liberally spread on it from my dripping head and hands.
