I have had that in the past where I grew up. Rang the shop up as had a car load of stuff just out of courtesy to letthem know incase they didnt have any space for it all, woman I spoke to was fine. When I turned up, different staff who were so put out at having to move the bags to the back room. I had to ask them if they actually wanted it all forthe charity! As they were complainng so much, then had to say its not for you to take home as they started putting stuff straight into handbags! Terrible and wouldnt go there again.

My current local shop is great and such a good idea they now do gift aid! Even got a nice letter at theend of the tax year to say how much the stuff I had taken had raised ( for gift aid they label everything up so they can claim it all back etc)

There's your problem, then!

Slightly OT but funny;
As we know you shouldn't just dump stuff outside the charity shop when they're shut. My brother in law (likes bling, drives a Porche etc.) did and only later that evening realised he'd taken the wrong box and the one he'd left contained, amongst other things a three grand watch and a pair of gold/diamond cufflinks. He rushed back but the box had gone, someone had a lucky find and we nearly pissed ourselves laughing!
