Some of those are just idiotic drivers but... on the other hand... where are the road markings? stop signs etc??? seems like everyone has right of way in China at crossroads???

In China, traffic lights are mostly seen as pretty roadside decorations. Crossing the road as a pedestrian can be an interesting experience, especially in Shanghai.
