i returned to my car which was parked in the high street,1/2 a dozen shirtless chavs aged about 16 to 20 were leaning/sitting on my car.drinks were placed on the roof along with tshits etc, when i saw them i wondered what to do,confront them or just get in my car & go.I walked into the closest shop(to my car) to think it through. Now, im not precious about my car but its just a lack of respect & i was really pissed off:angry::tongue:.One of the chavs had a union jack plaster cast on his arm (nice!!)
I walked out & straight over to my car,i pushed the shirts of the car roof onto the floor & said to of them " is that your car" "no" came the reply " well F****** get off it then" "easy tiger" was the reply,By now i was ready for a kicking & was hoping CCTV would rescue me from to bad a battering. Some more verbal was exchanged before they walked off.I shakily opened the car & left.im glad i confonted them.so dont mess with me OK !!!:welcome:

Couldnt you have just asked them to move their stuff from your car, because you were wanting to go?
I would have done. If they had said no then i would have just got in an drove off.

its more the fact they were using his car as a picnic bench than them stopping him from going.

I think we have had the definitive version of that :bicycle:

Or maybe not, as there are more tales to tell regarding that one

Well yes, but saying "could you move your crap from my car?" would have probably got them to move the stuff.
Ive found that most chavs are actually alright.
The ones that have the problem are the twats who want to be hard, and have something to prove.
Alot of the chavs/gangster types are alright. On my paper round, alot of the people from St Anns go to a cafe thats on my paper round. They are pretty polite and will even have a laugh.
The little shoots that have something to prove are usually the ones that try and rob a paper or something. Give them a thump and they will run off, telling you they will get their brother on you.

Theres a gobby kid in year 7 that thinks hes hard cuz his brother is. Hes not hard at all, and has had a few kids smack him. His answer is he will get his brother on you.
His brother is in my year, in a gang, is pretty hard and is actually an alright lad. Can have a laugh with him, hes pretty polite and has helped people out with stuff.
His brother just wants to be hard, and if picking on someone weaker will make him harder...........

Ofcourse, putting their cans / t shirts onto your car is abit disrespectful, im not saying it isnt.
Just no need to just chuck their stuff on the floor because they are on your car.

Is there any reason you have to go back to the area? If so I would avoid it but if you must don't take your car, unless you are 6ft 5" and built like Arnie Schwarznegger. I find it always helps to be polite but assertive with an "are you feeling lucky expression" for good measure . You can never tell with scrotes what they will do when you are not around to watch over your property.

I'd have though getting in really quickly and driviong off before they had time to move their drinks would have been enough. With a bit of luck, you might have snagged one of their tee-shirts too...
