If I have a double mech and therefore a double chainset will this be compatible with using a triple (shimano) shifter? Will it be a case of being careful when dropping onto inner ring so as not to overshift?
Assuming the triple shifter pulls the right amount of cable you can use the limit screws on the mech to stop the chain from being shifted off the chainring.
