Do we have anyone on the forum who knows a customs office at Dover who is on duty in the next couple of hours ?

If so, do me a favour and give a this German coach a pull, I'm sure you'll get the driver for being over his hours and who know what substance he is on or has on board, but I'm sure it's not legal.

Passed through Greenwich for the A2/A20 at 7.30, so probably on a 10-11pm boat.

He also needs to be educated on what to do when overtaking cycles, stopping at red lights, ASL lines, abuse, and grabbing cyclists out of the window

So what did you do to annoy him?

He tried to overtake and force me into the kerb. I refused to give ground, he then got very very annoyed, I told him where to go, he grabbed me through the window, then went through a red light, almost running me over in the following ASL

Sometimes conceding is in the best interests of all concerned.

Insisting on your rights is all fine and dandy but it's not a cast iron guarantee of longevity when taking on large metal objects piloted by a fellow irrational human.

In my limited experience, German coach drivers are extremely aggresive, short tempered and rather rude. There's a constant stream of them go to Fionnphort on Mull. They are unaware of the etiquette of passing places, they think that's where people go to get out of their way. I had one swearing at me through the glass as she reversed her coach back down the road after I stopped on the singletrack and folded my arms (I wasn't on a bike I hasten to add). She'd gone past two passing places to my none, so I thought bugger that.

Probably not representative but fun to recount.

I didn't know BMW made coaches.

They probably just train the coach drivers there
