Impressive descending too - looks a bit reckless at times on an open road but i think that is partly due to the footage being speeded up a little

Hate hills , both up and down em , which is a bit of a bugger living in the pennines, although do have the option of going on the flat towards Rochdale with the option of being muugged.

It's fun to watch videos like that, but I'm afraid it doesn't matter how good you are, if you meet a car coming the other way (as events in the Severn Bridge RR so tragically illustrated today).

There were a few places in the video where I'm fairly sure that the riders wouldn't have been able to see whether a vehicle was coming towards them.
