not sure if this is in the right section but..

Quite new to his cycling lark and ive been doing an 11 mile circuit every day for the last week trying to increace my performance. my question is ive had a couple of people drafting off me which is fine but do i wait for them to tell me to let them take a turn or just move over? i did a bit of drafting with my dad but obviously we were talking allot.

  2. Depends on the situation but in general I don't wait for them, if there not strong enough, I drop them. You'll know if they're strong enough and you'll get a good thing going and communication.

I wave people through and get on their wheel, if they're strong enough I'll happily take turns, but if they hold me up then I'll lead and if they can stick around then it's fine by me.

If you're trying to increase your performance, you should be asking them to hold on to your jersey pockets.
