Just had a call from the person building my wheels, to inform me that the entire stock of shimano disc dynohubs is faulty and has been sent back to Holland. It may be mid January when he gets new stock, so thats the CX out for a while.
I'll just have to suffer the MTB and Allez for a while instead.

The weather is a bit iffy right now, MTB is the best option IMHO.

I use the CX for commuting mainly, as it's got full length mudguards, rear rack, and during winter spiked tyres. The MTB also has spikes for winter, but is sooo heavy and I find flat bars uncomfortable now. The Allez currently has 28mm 4 seasons, clip on guards, and seat post rack (and dyno hub), so is fine until the ice appears.
