Some dick head put some drawing pins on the cycle path today and my step son caught them. Result: front and back wheel punctured. What is wrong with people?
At least he didn't come across the thin wire stretched across a cycle path at neck height that my friend came across once a few months back. I avoid cycle paths normally, prefer to dice with cars rather than drawing pins or wires. Some dick head put some drawing pins on the cycle path today and my step son caught them. I thought that was an urban myth. Surely something was done about it?At least he didn't come across the thin wire stretched across a cycle path at neck height that my friend came across once a few months back. I avoid cycle paths normally, prefer to dice with cars rather than drawing pins or wires.

Rope is a disgrace, thin wire could be construed as attempted murder. I really do despair at times.First time I came across it was a rope stretched between two tree's across a road, this was in 1974. No urban myth at all.
No urban myth unfortunately, its happened a few times on the Edinburgh paths aswell and I've heard of similar occurrences on mtb trailsI thought that was an urban myth. Surely something was done about it?
Ah, now you say that I do remember a story about a school friend of mine suffering some kind of incident on an Edinburgh path.No urban myth unfortunately, its happened a few times on the Edinburgh paths aswell and I've heard of similar occurrences on mtb trails![]()
