Need to be at Ronaldsway airport at 18.00 on Friday 30th and the cheapest and easiest way for me to get there is to leave my car at Heysham and take the ferry to Douglas, returning on Saturday.
It's to attend an honouring ceremony for my best school friend and earliest cycling and motorcycling buddy who died suddenly three years ago so I think it's entirely appropriate that I cross with my bike and cycle the 10 miles from Douglas to Ronaldsway.
This got me thinking about the possibility of a clockwise trip around the mountain on Saturday, ending up with a mahoosive blast down the TT route straight back to the ferry port, a fitting and appropriate way to leave the island.
Very much weather-dependent of course but anybody got any thoughts on this?
