Driver charged with murder after hitting cyclist

I would have been guilty.

I was indicating and about to turn left down a side street in the car last night (It was dark and raining), when a older teenager on a cycle rode off the pavement and across the road onto the other pavement with no lights and a dark hooded jacket. I just about saw him in time to stop.

I was signalling to turn left, fully concentrated on driving carefully in the dark and rain.
