That's covered in the article. It pointed to a single stretch of the M6 where the traffic density could accommodate the convoys.

A bit like those pesky cyclists that ride in convoy.

Ps: I'm all in for driverless lorries, just not a long convoy as growing vegetables pointed out.

PPS: I have nothing against a convoy of cyclists though, so long as it's a short convoy.

As long as there is a need for trucks, there is a need for automation.

I only saw this story this morning on BBC breakfast, after the VT finished and they cut back to the studio the bloke presenter said "wouldn"t it seem strange passing one of these lorries and seeing the driver on his I pad rather than actually driving..."
