One artic - 16.5m; drawbar truck - 18.5m. Add what ... 10m space between the trucks?

A convoy of ten? That's anything from 255m to 275m . Try getting that up the slip road, round the roundabout, and into the Motorway Services when you need a pee!

A bit like those pesky cyclists that ride in convoy.

Ps: I'm all in for driverless lorries, just not a long convoy as growing vegetables pointed out.

PPS: I have nothing against a convoy of cyclists though, so long as it's a short convoy.

We could argue about whether there is enough information to push @vernon off the fence.

So what will happen to those idiots who stay in the RH lane and only pull off at the last minute if one of these convoys* happens to be in the way?
