Nearby, a new National Park is being proposed in Wales around the existing Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

The road at World’s End, Denbighshire is fabulous.

World's End is stunning. The descent to Llangollen is just mad.

I've done the Bala to Traws route lots of times to visit family. Gorgeous scenery but there's some massively dodgy driving out there. That's not so much fun.

Ah Harlech, I love the place too and your dad is so lucky to have a view of the castle (my favourite in the world). I haven't been for a while, (not seen the new entrance to the castle yet), so must rectify that. Good post, we should all not take things for granted.

Saesneg is the Welsh for the English language.
