To pick up on the pedantry being peddled on another thread, how can you 'loose weight'?

A doner kebab contains 11 times the saturated fat of a mcdonald's big mac meal.

It's hardly winter training food either. My winter training diet is:

-homemade flapjack for breakfast
-porridge for lunch
-oats in pitta with some kale for lunch
-a tuna steak after my ride

All these oats make me ride faster and longer. The kale is a superfood which prevents me from getting ill, and interupting my winter training.

The single tuna steak cooked in 1 cubic millimetre of rapeseed oil is a protein hit to aid muscle recovery.

WTF are you on about? Winter training involves fat food...

If you are not that serious about winter training, then go ahead - take the weight penalty to keep warm.

If I feel in danger of contracting a cold or flu, I'll drink a teacupful of red wine, the riboflavins in which destroy free radicals. Free radicals are the arch enemies of the serious winter trainer.

Free beer and free food are the friends of winter training.

ah, that's why you're on here instead of winter training. A free radical got through to me today and all I can do at the moment is move my fingers I'm so ill.

I said go for the kebab. After all, if you're having enough beer you'll probably end up with your head down the loo and will void the kebab. Problem solved!
