We were pooling along in the Honda Civic one day, her driving when two of these, one either side, overtook us at 120 plus kph doing a wheelie. It took a week for the colour to return to her face.

Not in the slightest !! Could you imagine trying to hustle that around the twisty stuff ? It is bad enough on a Hayabusa (I've had a couple) !

That's one I was thinking of posting myself. Morini made two versions. the other being a 500 but the 350 was reckoned to be the better machine as the bigger engine was too much for the frame.

Drum braked earlier version is prettier.

Cognoscenti accept the 500 is different to the 3 1/2 rather than better or worse. The chassis easily copes with the 500 lump ime, and in the opinion of nearly all 500 owners.

Royal Enfield 535 Continental made in India get one for 3.5-4K
they have a harris frame and modern handling/brakes relalibility. True they are a wheezy plodder as standard 27bhp but tuning parts are available hitchcocks sell high comp pistons/cams/ reprofile injection etc and 50bhp is possible. could be the best of both worlds gorgous old world styling style and sound (they look even better in real life) and decent-ish (for a single) modern performance

Here's a cool bike, I first saw them in Barcelona maybe a decade ago, at first I thought it was just the one but I think there are upwards of 10 restored examples whizzing about the city. Now when I visit I look forward to spotting my first.
