Thanks @User

One look at the press photos and website images and the Ducati Scrambler was struck, scored in fact, off my list. If I was going to, and I'm almost certainly not, it would be the Guzzi V7 in black.

I don't go any more, I can't be doing with the overpriced car-parking, the queue's for everything, the extortionate cost they put on food, fat blokes pretending to be Valentino Rossi on sports bikes, queues, loud-mouths rattling on about how they used to race, idiots that have no idea on what they are looking at, more queues, dirty toilets, the same stuff that has been there for the past 10 years, no discounts on 'sale' stuff, freebie bags of sh1te, did I mention queues ?

Plus I have my perfect bike, therefore I don't need to look for another one. (The BMW S1000R is far too expensive and the Aprilia RSV4 is far too tall !!)

Apologies if this sounds negative, and I hope you had a great day, but the NEC show is not my thing any more

It was always like that, in my memory at least.

Royal Enfield 535 Continental made in India get one for 3.5-4K
they have a harris frame and modern handling/brakes relalibility. True they are a wheezy plodder as standard 27bhp but tuning parts are available hitchcocks sell high comp pistons/cams/ reprofile injection etc and 50bhp is possible. could be the best of both worlds gorgous old world styling style and sound (they look even better in real life) and decent-ish (for a single) modern performance
I can dream.....:cuppa:

We were main dealers for Royal Enfield, the 535 Unit Construction Engine is great, and they use Keihin Japanese EFI (one of the big two, Mikuni being the other).

Never really had any bother with them, recomend fitting a Grade 6 NGK sparkplug and NGK plug cap.

Watsonion Squire are very helpful if you need any technical questions answering.

If the Chinese have improved build quality and reliability they are knocking out some nice looking machines. This would make a great commuter / runaround. Not race track kit but this is how Honda started.
There was a stand with some Chinese-built very nice British vintage looking bikes for under 3k. Can't remember the name though.
The Sinnis retails at £2499. Assuming acceptable quality, that's a great price for a quarter litre bike even though it is a bit of a plodder.
