It seems a surprising number of us use dumb phones, for many a reason.

So whatya got?

I'm running a mighty beast of a Nokia 225. Cost me all of nothing by cashing in a few Tesco Clubcard points...

I often think for my next upgrade I'm going to get a basic phone, but then upgrade time comes and I'm looking for the best phone in my budget, providing it's not an icrap

I have a Samsung Galaxy pocket neo that I got from Amazon for £20. Its not used as a phone though, its only used for the strava app (no credit on it and nobody has the number, not even my wife).... I hate the bloody things. I binned my last phone around 5 years ago after being called up by an idiot at work at 2am asking me for my email address, I`d had similar calls happen but that was the straw that did for the donkeys spine. I took the battery out and chucked it across the bedroom and it`s not been used since.

I value my freedom.

Edit: I`v just twigged what a "dumb phone" is.

My phone is dumb. It's the iPhone 6. Actually it's not quite dumb just yet, it's still fudging awesome. It will become dumb when the iPhone 6s is launched shortly. Need to get my sleeping bag ready so I can be 1st in the queue to maintain my awesomeness.

I'm so lucky that iPhone keep updating the awesomeness every few months so I can maintain my status by constantly buying the new version.

I live on the edge of good reception so the £40 smartphone gets me better reception whilst the old Samsung is great on the move.

I've a pair of Nokia 2210's. 5 hours standby, 30 minutes talktime(when the battery was new).
Main phone at present is the Ericsson R250s. 15 years old, been run over twice & left a nice bruise when t-boned in 2005.
EE have just caught up with it, if you believe their advert, with making a call on the underground. Keeps a signal going through Summit Hill tunnel causing odd looks at times.

I hate phones as well because people are so obsessed with them.I've even heard people at work talking on them while having a number 2 and sometimes a number 1.
