Great. Enjoy your retirement and spare a thought for poor wee me sitting listening to moaning customers all day.

Thanks everybody.

It really is a strange feeling knowing that all the problems and issues at the office are going to evaporate, but I'll miss a lot of colleagues as well.

I'll also miss the commuting on a bike as well. The icy cold early morning rides, seeing the sun rise and rides home in the dark trying to miss the pot holes. Getting home late, tired and hungry and slumping in front of the TV. Enjoyed the days of the train strikes just a few years ago (was it really 1973, only seems like yesterday?) and riding into London, arriving before my office colleagues and getting back to the village to see them collapse off the trains.

Haven't commuted by bike every day, but have managed to at least once at every place I've worked at, from a 1 miler to a 46 round commute.

Going to take a short break, then hopefully start some regular daytime rides to keep me busy.

Cheers Keith

I'm sort of semi-retired/self-unemployed, and for some years have been cycling a reasonable distance to the pool and going for a 1km swim, then back, five+ days a week. Lower body, upper body, respiratory, cardio-vascular, state of mind, blah de blah. Works for me. Oh, and congrats. Well survived!
