It's been an emotional day. Got to the office and the door was covered with retirement banners and my desk covered with balloons.

They gave me a couple of pressies and fizzy drinks and stuff, and one lady had baked me a cake ...

And not just any bike. It's a Bernard Hainault replica of his 1980 bike!

Yes they really are. I pushed them into holding an annual bike day and last Friday was the 9th one and 17 of us took part.

I've promised to return next year for the 10th one.
