Has any one cycled from Dundee to Edinburgh, using the East Coast Fife route? me and my girl are looking to do it, and I have heard mixed reports. we would be on tourers.

Hiya buckled,
The last time I took the coastal route it was no more than a muddy path in areas, I certainly wouldn't let my road bikes near it but I haven't been on it in years. I think there was a thread on this recently in the touring section and everybody agreed its better to go through central Fife.
