Dundee to KIRRIEMUIR anyone got a route?

Hi, I'm looking for a suitable route from Dundee to Kirriemuir that's not too hilly. Anyone done it?
I'm a 70 year old cyclist

Looking at Google maps going via Meigle seems the least hilly but still nearly a 1000ft of climbing

Dundee out to Muirhead/Birkhill
then out to Newtyle..
At Newtyle head right at war memorial towards Balkeerie,
after Eassie there is a left turn which takes you downhill then across the A94 towards Craigton
then right turn A926 to KIrrie..
Kirrie is one hilly toon.....
You can't miss hills...

I've plodded around the area but avoided Kirrie,

Nice run out from Dundee if you avoid the Gourdie Brae...
