Duplicate posts appearing

I'm not alone in experiencing the double posting of messages on the site this morning. For me it's when I compose a message and click on the button to post it and I don't get the usual "your message has been posted" notice. So I click it again and that's when I see there are now two messages.

If I preview the message first before submitting it, it posts fine.

I've deleted them - along with a series of other duplicates.

I've given the server a kick and that seems to have resolved the immediate problem.
