Googles seem to be OK, alternatively a better mask with ventilation would be better

The best solution is a positive pressure respirator like this. I bought one about fifteen years ago when they cost big money. They are much more common now.The visor gives you good all round vision and the battery powered airflow over your face is free from dust. Wearing a "gas Mask" style respirator is utter misery in comparison.

Here's an example...

Trend stuff is ruinously pricey, BTW. Look around for other suppliers

Have you tried these masks? They don't seem to steam up safety specs and are a little bit cheaper than the powered ones but not nearly as comfy. They've got a long life span too.

I use one of these with glasses and have never had any steaming up issues.

I won't use anything less and the disposable paper or pad type are worse then useless.

Whatever you do, make sure you have a p3 filter as minimum, it's 10 years since I worked for 3m inventory cOntrolling stuff like this but I'm sure I remember mdf dust needing some extra filtration of a chemical nature as mdf is treated with formaldehyde. The 3m dustmaster units were good for this kind of thing.
