This turned up at our bike charity, headed For the skip until I managed to save it. I think late 50’s/early 60’s. I’m now trying to find it a home. Nice lugs and brazing, straight, undented, 27.2mm seat pin, 531 decal (but 70’s style), Benelux (Cyclo) dropouts.
it was fitted with a Campag Record rear mech, 1020, 1968 (which I also saved) but a huret gear lever. By coincidence (or not!) another donated bike came in at the same time with a pretty rare chain pull Huret Competition rear mech, early/mid 50’s. Could they possibly be related? 🙂
ive offered the Huret mech to the Disraeli Gears web site owner as it’s a mech he doesn’t have.
