 Fun to have a go on one but i wont be spending my pennies on it . It gets you up to 15mph pretty quick so good for pulling off at junctions / roundabouts i guess .

I am always shouting the benefits of electric bikes. But as I said, I do not see the point of an electric road bike. I just cannot see it as just another e bike. For me electric bikes are a way to get out in the open without having to expend too much energy and just take it easy.

Road bikes, by their nature, are built to expend energy. I am even on board with electric MTBs which allow access to tracks and paths a 28c tyre might have trouble with. But which market is the electric road bike aimed at? Who is going to buy one? Who is going to pay 3 grand for one?

I guess we all have different oppinions..

any bike by its very nature is built to expend energy, an electric road bike is no different to any other ebike.

due to medical issues I'm hoping to buy an ebike soon , if I had 3 grand burning a hole in my pocket,,,,,,,,

well to be honest no I wouldn't, I find the position too painful on my spine now need something more upright
