I don't watch any soaps. They are all rubbish..
How do you know if you don't watch any? Perish the thought you've let other people make up your mind for you..!

I am NOT a fan of soaps, but after a discussion at work today I am watching East Enders!
There is a story line about one of the characters called Patrick has had a stroke...... and apparently his portrayal is very true to life.
Having seen a few minutes and yes it is an effective, and emotional portrayal which reflects the issues surrounding stroke victims, but it is rather lost in the rest of the melodrama
It could be a lot more effective and raise awareness more if not lost in the rest of the melodrama
They are supposed to reflect real life and educate, if that is true then how come my colleague who watches every episode of EastEnders, Emmerdale and Corrie is completely ignorant regarding real life matters![]()
I remember a while back being at a party and being asked, "so who do you think did Cain then?"
I think that moment was the Genesis of my proper dislike of soap operas.I'd not be Abel to answer that one either
Bring back Crackerjack I say, there has never been such fun on tvI didn't know emmerdale was still going. Is brookside still on? Another load of rubbish that is/was.
