Don't get me wrong I have no problem with people leaving stuff on trains it's a part of life...I don't think it's funny or stupid and am sure I could quite easily do the same...Then again im losing stuff all over the place anyway...I think im going senile...I put something down then I can't find the blasted thing...I left my schedule in Guildford messroom last week.

Well I try and hand...in fact I do hand all stuff in and im sure most staff do the same...I dont know about EMT but they can't all be bad can they?

Stagecoach...I knew it.

Things may be bad guys but I think Stagecoach will sort it in the end.

Is it beyond the realms of possibility that some one nicked the stuff you left on the train? The train staff can only deal with what they have got. whilst it is their responsibility, if they can't find it, they can't hand it in to the lost property department.

Plus the fact it must pass through some hands getting to the lost property office depending on where it was found of course...

If a member of train crew found or was given lost property they would hand it out at their terminating station to the station manager or supervisor. They would be given a reciept, and that would be it as far as they are concerned. They have many other things to be concerned about as well as other people's lost items.

Weird...Never in all my time I have been there have I been given a receipt........

Where I am they must get tons of lost property....

Difficult in the rush hour when you are in and almost straight out again..I'd say we have 8 minute turn arounds from when we get in if we are running on time...I try and give it to the station staff or guard...

I know but it's never happened...If worst comes to worst I'd have to get them to download 'evidence' from the 3000 cameras around the station.
