Booked this the other week.. only 14 places out of the 700 places left!!

I'd sooner £25 in my pocket these days, living almost on the start line I can do it any time I want, just cannot see what you get for your money doing a sportive, would much sooner do a good challenging Audax instead and cherish the badges than have a water bottle, bag or a T shirt with "Big G" wrote on it

That's the beauty of it...you don't have to pay the £25 if you don't want to I my self just want to have a blast around with 700 other like minded folks...get back have some chow and look at other bike related stuff...other peoples bikes etc...Just having a really good day out. It's not just about doing the course..I could do it myself as well as I'm in Hull but I'd sooner do it with another 699 people Oh and I've set myself a challenge to do 100km (I'll probably do more than that before the day but it gave me a goal.)

I choose once a year to do the ride with 700 others...

If I get the chance I do it for 'free' with just a couple of folks, as they kindly leave the marks on the road & maps online

(to be fair - did avoid the one in holderness as a bit too cloe to home... & not as scenic)
