Yes, I that's true. Back in the 90's I briefly knew the late Michael Sheard, famous for being Mr Bronson in Grange Hill, and he mentioned that since he was in the first series when the lads went to Hamburg. On the subject of film locations, the building used in Holby City as the hospital, I am told, is now part of the BBC Elstree lot but in the 60's, it was Harlington Straker studios, location of Shado HQ in Gerry Anderson's UFO. Ed Bishop always pulled up outside in one of those gull-wing cars, years before DeLoreans!. And wasn't the kids show The Double Deckers also filmed in north London somewhere?. I read that a sign in the show said 'London 17 miles', which was an in-joke referrring to the real distance to London. Eastenders?..more like NorthEnders if you ask me

Cough, Cough, some of the finest people on CC have a 'N' post code. I used to have an 'E' post code until I saw the light, and moved in 1973 to a 'N' post code.
