Have others experienced the Ebay delivery, where Ebay provided either Royal Mail or Evri delivery (and charges it against the sale)? On the face of it, it seems to be a little cheaper/easier, but I've had a couple of problems with it when selling. I sold some very small/light items that I would send by Large letter post, but Ebay made them 48 hr tracked post, raising the buyer's price. To be fair Ebay have now advised that any items below £10 in value can go via seller-generated post (ie not Ebay created). I listed for sale a kitchen drawer (weight 6.4kg) and Ebay quoted £8 (seemed about correct), but after I'd sold it the Ebay-generated postage was £2.49 and suggested the item was 1cm wide and only weighed 10g . Thankfully, I manually altered the Evri details to the correct dimensions and weight, to find the cost had changed to £6.10. Ebay have charged £8 against the sale (although when the 'balance' arrives on my account, it may have corrected this? ) When I took it to the Post Office (Evri pick-up point) the guy behind the counter said he'd seen many items where the price was 'way out' and he didn't know how they get corrected.

I'm using it for the first time at the moment with several listings, so I'm also interested to see how others are getting on.

Everything I've listed since it came in I've been able to manually choose my own postage, that includes some items well over £10. Old listings created before simple post have kept whatever I selected at the time, though I do periodically review them as the post prices can change.

I don't mind the change so long as I can keep manually overriding the choice it gives e.g. I'll always use Royal Mail only, no one else

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I manually choose my own postage. I tend to use large letter although I am also using tracked 48 hours unsigned for and the price I buy the postage direct from Ebay is correct.

I wouldn't want Ebay to take away my ability to pick and choose postage options.

I'm the reverse. I'll pretty much always use Evri because Royal Mail is such a PITA when it comes to both collection and delivery. Evri I can drop off at my local cornershop.

Post Office is my local corner shop, bit they do Evri as well if someone else needs it.

Wouldn't ever use Evri, terrible company with dire service.
Nearly impossible to deal with if anything goes wrong.

Sold a few things on eBay recently but just chose to get my own postage and went with Royal Mail for convenience and reliability.
