Remember those terrible aldi tights from last year with the pad in the wrong place? I returned mine because they were unwearable. Cost about a tenner.

Fifteen quid on ebay...

My missus does that with stuff from places like the Range. Craft supplies are often cheaper in the range than the going price on eBay

I'm riding a bike build on a Dave Yates steel frame. The frame was five years old but unused. I got it for £140. The new price at the time of purchase was pushing £900 from the builder.

It can work both ways.

yeah but... you don't get that 'winning' feeling when you order from Chain Reaction. 30p for that winning feeling is money well spent

a few years ago i was looking at the OMM front pannier racks, but the £80-90 price tag put me right off... quick check on ebay, got an unused one, still in it's packaging for £40

I loved the one where the listing was of a Photo of an X-Box One for £450

So a muppet bought it despite the clear description that it was a PHOTO

Then complained that he had been scammed!

I remember buying a rocking maternity chair for my wife - it was available on ebay or an online shop or in store all from the same company. I got the price of the product on line and then looked through ebay. The price on ebay often ended up £50 or more than the price through the online shop. I think people get bidding fever and don't do any research before using ebay.
