Was watching a Trek 6500 SLR (non disc brake model) mountain bike on EBay. Exactly the same size, model and colour as one I bought NEW, 3 years ago for £440 (but later sold at a bargain price to my brother to help finance a new bike).
The one I bought was a discontinued model, so the ebay one must be at least 3 years old; and it just sold for £410
. Not a bad rate of depreciation for the seller.....
