Not as cheap as some, £55 for standard paint. More for fancy finishes, which I am not having. You need to strip the frame of all components obviously, and remove the forks. They strip all the paint and prepare the frame for coating. Although not essential I had a pair of scrap BB cups I screwed in to protect the threads, but the guy told me all the bits they mask/protect so he obviously knew what he was talking about.

You could try Spraytech in Harlow for your next frame. Ask for the special Hugh Brown coating. They have developed a way of putting two very fine coats on to get a finish not far away from paint. They also now have their own blasting cabinet.
Hugh is a friend of mine who restores Old Triumph motor bikes, he will not except any sub standard work for his bikes and spraytech do a great job. I have had a couple of frames done there and recomend them highly.
