Just checking my numbers. I hit 45 in 2023, and started making some progress toward 50 in 2024, but last year was a bit of a dud cycling wise. I am slowly building up my stamina to try and get some 50s this year.

After pretty much ignoring Eddingtons after hitting 50 miles 3 years ago - its still on 50 miles despite doing another 11 50+ mile plus rides as 50 miles seems to be my "sweet" spot for a long* ride out, I discovered I've unwittingly upped my metric Eddington to 74km, so 75km is well with reach and 80km (19 more rides) isnt so far over the horizon to be completely out of reach.

Friday's commute to and from work of 22 miles and Friday nights version of the London Lockdown ride at 100.43 miles meant another 120+ ticked off.
Only 2 more rides needed to get to that number.

Hit my 75km Eddington this morning with a 50m /80km ride*.
14 more 80km rides to that landmark.

*this involved 3, 1.5 mile laps of a triangle quite near home and a riding a bit past the house and back again.
